With the strategy team identifying Maple St’s strengths, they worked alongside the marketing team to create a plan of action ensuring their image and music were at the forefront of every move made.
We worked directly with the band to form a content plan for socials, which would then provide us the best performing content for advertising across YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, with the aim of getting listeners to their music whilst securing engaged fans.
Our publicists worked with the duo to secure national coverage in music publications and angle focused media as the band were part of the LGBTQ+ community. This led to our team securing a premiere with largest LGBT media brand PRIDE as well as coverage across G-Scene, Thread and DIVA.
The digital team then took this media coverage and ensured it was reaching a wider audience through targeted Facebook and Instagram advertising to the LGBT community. Increasing reach on these articles by 109%.
Outside of their LGBT audience, the band also wanted to reach all 14-30-year olds who would be potential listeners of their style of music. To target these listeners, the creative team designed an ad for Facebook and Instagram to tell the duo’s story, getting potential fans to fall in love with their narrative as well as the music. Reaching over 30,000 individuals, the ad captured their dream audience to ensure their upcoming release had listeners on release day.
Our final mission was to push users to Spotify. Alongside playlists, securing over 15,000 organic listeners, we capitalised on Google ads. To get the highest quality view and listener, we created performance-based videos with Discovery Ads pushing the potential fan to engage. With over 45,000 views, the video not only increase listeners as the viewer then went on to stream, it also acted as brand awareness to push fans across to their socials, increasing following.
